Frequently Asked Questions
The type of clothing worn depends on the session. Some types of therapy allow you to be fully clothed in your everyday wear while others require you to be in loose-fitting shorts and a sports bra (for females) so that assessment and movement will be easier during the session. And, of course, some therapies require that you dress down to your comfort level while your therapist drapes you.
So, to be prepared for whatever is needed it is best to wear comfortable clothing that you could receive treatment in and to bring shorts and a sports top if needed.
During your first session, you will be able to discuss with your therapist what will be needed moving forward.
We ask for 24 hours notice to adjust or cancel appointments at no charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the session price.
Missed sessions with no notice are charged 100% of the session price.

We can and do use orthopedic testing to determine if bodywork is recommended for your issue.
If we find that the test we perform indicates that massage and bodywork may not be a good fit then we will refer you to other specialists which may include a medical practitioner for a diagnosis.
Since every one of our therapists is an independent contractor we allow each therapist to decide whether they require credit card information to hold an appointment. If the therapist does require credit card information to hold the appointment then that information will be gathered by our software at the time of the appointment. Depending on the appointment, a percentage of the cost may be charged to the card immediately to hold the appointment.
For charges related to our cancellation policy please that question on the FAQ page. For any additional questions please give us a call.
BODY HEAL Therapy is a holistic bodywork approach to pain relief. Since the human body moves as a unit, rather than in individual pieces, we often compromise for repetitive patterns and postures with unrelenting tension in other areas that can cause pain. By addressing these patterns, we can go beyond providing temporary help to the area causing discomfort, and instead, treat the root cause with lasting results.
