Bringing life into the world is a monumental feat, leaving your body and soul in need of nurturing. Our Postpartum Massage is a loving embrace for new mothers, a place where the strains of childbirth and the demands of motherhood are acknowledged and gently eased away. Imagine reclaiming your sense of self, your body’s comfort, and your mental peace, all while resting in the hands of our caring therapists.
Postpartum Massage is focused on the realigning process after giving birth. This session is designed to assist the release of birth tension, support digestion, assist in milk production and relieve common postpartum discomforts. Addressing the ribs and pelvic bowl encourages organs to return to their proper place and supports fluid balancing throughout the body. This offering is a continuation of the holding of a mother during her birthing process and an aid in restoring a new mother’s vitality.
We work to open the chest, alleviating tightness and supporting breastfeeding (as needed). We focus on shoulder, neck and arm tension from the care and feeding of the baby. This session can help relieve tension from the birth process and can signal a returning to yourself in the newness of your postpartum season. Postpartum Massage can be indicated up to 18 months following birth.

Prior to the session you will digitally submit a detailed health history form. At the top of our session we will have a conversation reviewing the information gathered and find out how I can best support you. We will discuss several facets of your lifestyle and health in addition to defining any goals and answering any questions you have for me. During the session you dress down for comfort. Throughout the massage we will use pillows, a sheet and blanket to support comfort on the table. A robe is on hand in case you need the restroom during the session.
