About Patricia Johnson

Areas of focus

I work with full body therapeutic massage, chronic pain, stubborn tension, and discomfort that doesn’t always have a clear cause. I enjoy helping clients who want a thoughtful, whole body approach to feeling better.

My approach

I believe every system and structure in the body is connected. Lasting relief often comes from paying attention to deeper patterns, not just where things hurt. My work is gentle, intentional, and guided by what your body is communicating.

How I came to this work

My interest in the body started early. Growing up around sports and hands on labor, I became curious about how the body moves, adapts, and sometimes holds onto tension that needs support to release. That curiosity led me to massage and bodywork. I trained at the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, where I developed a strong foundation in full body therapeutic massage and a thoughtful approach to care.

Techniques I often use

My sessions may include full body therapeutic massage, focused tension release, and techniques that support balance and integration throughout the body.

What I love most about my work

I love helping clients tune into what their bodies are telling them and creating space for real comfort and restoration.

What you can expect

You can expect a calm, attentive session where we work together through conversation and hands on care. My hope is that you leave feeling not just better, but more at home in your body.

Thoughtful Care. Structured Progress. Lasting Change.

Every Body Heal session follows a clear, intentional process designed to help you move better and feel better — not just temporarily, but sustainably. While each therapist brings their own style and specialty, the foundation of care remains consistent across our team.

Conversation & Clarity

We begin by understanding your history, goals, daily demands, and current symptoms. Pain rarely exists in isolation — context matters.

Assessment

Your therapist observes posture, movement patterns, and areas of restriction to understand how your body has adapted over time. This helps guide treatment decisions with precision.

Targeted Bodywork

Hands-on techniques are selected based on your specific needs that day. Sessions may include therapeutic massage, myofascial work, neuromuscular techniques, or movement-based integration.

Progression

For many clients, real change happens through thoughtful follow-up. We help you determine a plan that supports steady improvement without creating dependency.
